What we collect and why
When you contact us
Through our contact form, our review request form or by email, you may send us your name, email address, company, website address, the type of engagement and budget you have in mind, your message and any links you include.
We use this information to answer your inquiry, prepare a proposal and manage any resulting work. When you are personally a party to a potential or existing contract, we rely on taking steps at your request before entering into that contract or performing it. When you contact us on behalf of a business, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and managing client relationships. Please do not send passwords or other sensitive information through the form.
Spam protection
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people apart from automated spam. Turnstile processes technical signals such as your IP address and browser details. It does not read what you type into the form. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site and our inbox secure. Cloudflare also uses these signals to improve Turnstile, as an independent controller under its Turnstile privacy addendum.
Analytics, only with your consent
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics, loaded through Cloudflare Zaraz, to understand which pages are visited, how people arrive and how the site performs. This includes pages viewed, the referring site, approximate location, device and browser type. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. We do not use analytics data for advertising.
The legal basis is your consent. Analytics does not run until you accept, and you can withdraw consent at any time in , which stops further collection.
Hosting and security
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data about each request, such as your IP address, browser details and the page requested. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a fast and secure website.
International transfers
Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States. Where personal data leaves the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep data
- Inquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact. If we work together, we keep project and billing records for as long as the work and the law require.
- Analytics user- and event-level data is subject to a retention period of 14 months in Google Analytics. This setting does not apply to standard aggregated reports.
- Security and hosting logs are kept by Cloudflare for a short period, as set out in its policies.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies and the circumstances, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, and receive certain data in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it. We respond within the time required by applicable law. For requests under the GDPR, this is normally within one month; if a permitted extension is needed, we will explain why within that first month.
You also have the right to complain to a competent data protection authority. In the European Economic Area, this can be the authority where you habitually live, work or believe an infringement occurred. You can find contact details in the European Data Protection Board’s directory.
Visitors in the United States
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can contact us using the details above to make a privacy request. Your rights depend on applicable state law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
